About Odensehuis Amersfoort

Odensehuis Amersfoort opened in November 2024 on Landgoed Blom, in the green of the Bokkeduinen, after more than six months of preparation by Christel Ruesen, Marieke Driessen and Frederike Veldhuis. It is a citizens' initiative: warm, informal, and run by volunteers with a single professional role supporting them.

Its core values are self-direction, equality and making the most of everyone's talents, and its motto is Voluit leven — living fully. The doors are open every Monday and Wednesday from 10:00 to 16:00: coffee, a good conversation, walks on the estate, gardening, music, the Krachtbrein exercise programme, talks and creative work.
