Raising money for Thirty empty beds at Maya Home by Maya Foundation
In 2022 I visited the Maya Foundation's school for the first time. I arrived as a visitor and left with something I find hard to explain: the children there have so little, and yet so much warmth for each other.
What stayed with me most were the empty beds in Maya Home, where the children live. Not because there are no children who need them, but because there is no money to give them a place. I have never let go of that image.
That is why I am raising money myself. No grand gesture — just giving something back to the place that gave me so much. Every euro goes towards beds that should not be empty.
